The Foreman Chukka 9216 is a reinterpretation of the classic Work Chukka design that combines the popular Black Harness leather boot upper with Red Wing’s lightweight and durable Neoprene Cushion Sole. The heeled neoprene outsole was designed to provide traction and long-wearing support for the American factory floor managers, also referred to as „Foremen“, who spend hours on their feet and had to move between diverse terrains. This versatile sole is an ideal partner for our stylish and enduring chukka boot. This boot compliments both elegant and casual outfits.

The Merchant is based on traditional work boots from the 1920s, when Red Wing started making boots without toe reinforcement to provide a more comfortable fit without any stress points. The Red Wing 8062 Merchant has a Chemi Gum outsole for excellent grip and outstanding comfort. For those of you that are new to the brand, for your consideration, our boots do fit much larger than other brands. More often than not you will drop half to full size in our boots. But, this does all depend on foot shape whether you have a broader or narrower fitting.
